We had the privilege of lighting the renovated Sale Duca di Montalto , inside the Royal Palace of Palermo . A magnificent exhibition space, characterized by impressive vaults, frescoed by some of the most talented painters of the seventeenth century who are currently hosting the exhibition on Flemish painting. The exhibition, promoted by the Federico II Foundation , by the Regional Department for Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity entitled “Sicilië, Flemish painting”
A complex lighting design project, in which it was a “must” to satisfy the need to flexibly adapt the shape of the light to multiple possible exhibition scenarios, while respecting and enhancing the particular architectural space. The choice fell on the versatility and technical qualities of Artemide’s Picto projectors, supplied and installed by our customer RcLamp.
Thanks to the collaboration between all the existing actors, Trj, Artemide, the architect Pai Riggio and RcLamp , it has been possible to create an osmotic relationship between the parties, which has led to the overcoming of all the design challenges presented.
The light is the way our eye perceives energy . Our task was to ensure that the energy of the place came in full to anyone visiting the Halls. We must thank the Federico II Foundation for its sensitivity shown.
Enlighten to excite, illuminate to enhance beauty.
