Light as a poetic and effective gesture, in response to every techno-lighting need, Davide Groppi is a dinamyc lighting company, named after its founder and current designer. Born in the late eighties as a craft workshop in Piacenza it became an industrial company after being discovered by Marilena De Padova.

It is characterized by the extremely high quality of its lighting creations as well as their elegant visual purity. Thanks to a powerful combination of optics and diffusers, very few elements are required to effectively illuminate all types of locations. Every creation and its inclusion in space results from a single and basic formula, which combines simplicity with lightness, emotion, invention and amazement.

It is the only company to have won two Compasso d’Oro awards in the same year – 2014 – for the slender Sampei floor lamp and for the almost invisible Nulla recessed spotlight. In addition, in 2016 the Company is awarded the Compasso d’Oro mention of Honor for Tetatet.
